Pumpkin farm and Halloween

The Fall fun continues with a trip to the pumpkin farm and candy overload with Halloween.
Halloween this year was extra fun because we are in our new neighborhood and they go all out!  Not only all out with decorations, but all out with candy too.  In fact, the rest of Amarillo comes to our neighborhood to trick or treat, so it gets crazy crowded!  We got our kids out early and then headed back to our house to hand out candy.  Parker and Sydney had more fun handing out candy than they did going trick or treating, so funny!
Last week Parker's first grade class went to Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm for a field trip and I got to go along!
It was a crisp, clear morning and the kids had a blast!
Somehow P ended up in a wagon with two girls…something tells me this will be the story of his schooling days. ;)
My favorite boy!

On the same day, Miss Priss had dress up day at Mother's Day Out.  They got to walk across the street to the nursing home and trick or treat.
Two year olds…they were less than thrilled to be dressed up.
On Halloween we carved pumpkins.
Success!
All ready to hit the neighborhood!

This giant cat was their favorite!
We stopped by and saw the cousins and Faith ended up fitting right into our theme!
This is 9:00 at night after too much candy and up way past her bedtime!
Keepin' it real.

A fun Fall!

I can't believe it's already November, this has been such a beautiful Fall!  The weather has been gorgeous and we've been busy enjoying these days!

Parker has been playing Upward flag football and it has been the MOST fun experience.  He loved it, here he is playing center!
Neesie and Grandad even came up to watch P in action!
Parker, his new football and Art Briles! ;)
Speaking of football, have you heard??  Our Baylor Bears are #2 in the NATION!!  I'm telling you, when we were there they never won, ever.  This has been a very fun football season!
We had to go down to Waco and experience it for ourselves!
Tailgating before the game.
The new stadium sits right on the Brazos, so you can even come by boat, park and go in to watch the game.  Too bad we forgot our boat!  HA!!
Oh, and we got a puppy.
You know…build a brand new house and then introduce a biting, chewing, peeing and pooping puppy into it.  We are doing things in JUST the right order! (sarcasm anyone??)
Those two kids right there are the reason we got one.  They have been asking for a dog for a long time and we finally did it.
These two especially are inseparable!
She's cute…a mini Australian Shepherd.  I will love her more when she is house trained!!
We've been doing everything outside lately because we know that the cold weather and snow are coming.  This day we painted pumpkins after school!
Lots of swinging outside too!
And just to show you a little glimpse of how this 2 year old keeps me on my toes and aging…I caught her climbing the stairs, on the wrong side!
Whew!

Halloween pics up next, stay tuned!
I promise to have them up by Christmas! ;)
