Due date...came and went!

Memorial day turned out to not be so memorable.  I am now two days passed my due date and we are still anxiously waiting!  This baby is snug as a bug and seems to have no intention of arriving on his own.  So, we will be at the hospital at 5 am. to be induced on Friday!  Tonight will be our LAST night of good sleep because there's no way either one of us will sleep tomorrow night knowing that we have to be up so early and what is ahead of us!  We are so excited and will post baby news soon! :)

Still waiting

I thought I better post something because I've had several people think we've had our baby since I haven't posted in a while.  Nope!  My due date is tomorrow, Memorial Day, and no sign of baby Austin.  I'll be induced on Friday the 29th if he doesn't come on his own.  Sorry no pictures this time, I figured a picture of James and I sitting around waiting is not that exciting! Ha! :)  We've had such a fun weekend hanging out just the two of us, going on a "last date" by ourselves, and just doing things around the house!

38 weeks and finished nursery

Today I decided that since I'm about to not be pregnant anymore, I wanted James to take some pictures of me that I will have as a sweet memory!  He at first thought it was total "cheese ball" but soon realized that we'll look back on these and smile.

After going to the doctor last week and being told that I am "well on my way", I put it into high gear and got the nursery completely ready!  The walls are the only thing I lack...the wall letters are on order and will be hung above baby's crib.   I also have in mind to take some sweet black and white pictures of him and hang those in black frames in different places.  Hopefully it won't be too much longer and the pictures you see on my post will be of our new bundle of joy!

38 Weeks!

Amarillo baby shower

On Saturday, some of my dear sweet friends in Amarillo threw me a baby shower.  My mom and sister flew in for it, so it was extra special to have them there!  The shower was so much fun and now I am completely ready for this baby boy to get here!  We have three weeks to go from today, I can't believe it!  James and I are so excited to meet our son and to see what he looks like!!
