Baptism

The most important decision we can make as humans here on Earth is to realize that we are sinners and that we need Christ as our personal saviour, repent of our sins and accept Him into our hearts and follow Him daily.
"For it is by Grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God, not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38

This past summer, our nieces, Faith and Adelynn, both accepted Christ into their hearts at camp Kanukuk. On Sunday, they were baptized out at the ranch in the lake by Uncle Steve. (Steve went to seminary before dental school!)
Luke and Meredith had planned a sweet little ceremony complete with Bible verses and praise and worship songs. Here are some pics from the special day...

Steve spoke before he began the baptism.

Carrying Faith into the (chilly) water.

We had towels immediately waiting for them, that water was cold!!

And this precious boy slept through the whole thing but had an ugly meeting with the concrete after nap time. He was running, fell and his face hit first...the first of many battle wounds I'm sure! ;)

Still happy enough to chomp down on rubber ducky!!
