Thanksgiving and a wedding

This year we spent Thanksgiving week at my parent's house and had so much fun!  As always, we packed in as much as we could with family.  This year, we also had a wedding the weekend after. James's cousin Tripp got married on Saturday the 30th.  The reception was at the Dallas Arboretum and it was just beautiful!!  Now we are in full blown Christmas season, I can't believe it... my favorite time of year (besides summer)!!

The day before we left to drive to Dallas, we had our first snow!

You knew there had to be a trip to North Park, right?

Cousin time!!

Sweet Ty just loved on Sydney.

Thanksgiving day!

And then this happened...

Mom, Lindsey and I busted out of the house that night and did some "Black Friday" shopping on Thursday!

After Thanksgiving, the wedding festivities began!
Me and my girl at the reception.

Parker and his cousin Faith
I got to dance with my hottie hubby!!

They passed out these cool glasses on the dance floor!  My two cool dudes!

And when we got back to Amarillo, we had one warm day to play outside and we've been in the deep freezer ever since!

Some firsts

We've had some firsts going on at our house this past week.  Of course most things that happen are a first for Miss Sydney, but Parker has been involved too!

Parker got his first set of X-rays.
He fell at school and his finger swelled up and turned blue.  It wasn't broken, just badly jammed.  Being a boy mom, I knew X-rays were coming at some point.  Ugh!

First time to see this beauty!  It was parked in front of our Walmart Saturday morning.  Doesn't it crack you up?

First time Parker really got into decorating.  He is definitely his mother's son.  He stayed by my side the whole day and decorated the entire house with me, I love it!!

Ta da!

Little Miss sitting in her high chair for the first time.  We got it down from the attic when we were decorating.  She loves it!  She looks so big.  Tear.

She loves her boys!!

It is a blessing to get to spend everyday with these two!

First time eating blueberries in her oatmeal, it was a hit!
